In our modern world, the definition of being successful may deemed as how wealthy, what worldly materials the individual acquired from cars to housing or what career the person is in etc. To some, it may be important to have beautiful/well built physical appearance or academic achievement of a child which the parents can be proud of. There is nothing wrong with wanting more to improve their life. To be able to enjoy life at large with expensive holidays, owning beautiful property, latest IT or mobile gadget, dinning in up-class and expensive restaurants etc.
Food for thought: Can these bring complete happiness? Can these help in eliminating dissatisfaction, anger, anxiety, frustration and other emotions to bring complete, stable happiness at all time and all occasions?
The list can go on and on and never ending. Have you ever wonder the meaning and the purpose of chasing after these short-lived wants and needs just because that's what life is all about due to the normality of the society we are from? Are we really happy?
Can happiness be measured in the possession one could have in life or the things they could do to lessen their suffering? The answer is yes and no with money, nothing stays forever. Take for example, an individual cannot buy time for yourself or your beloved ones near the end of life. However, monies can be in someway help lessen the sufferings of the individual momentarily. But when the individual is back to life reality, what else would crawl in? It maybe loneliness, sadness, anger, frustration or other entangled emotions. People may cling of the past or being too hopeful for the future and live not at the present but a deluded life. Rethink on what are the others implications if these issues are not resolved?
Life itself is impermanent, when the not so good things or life crisis happened or strike in life. How the individual able to manage or handle his or her life in the balanced way with "F.E.R".
